Mahendra Singh Foundation helps girls from different parts of the world on their journeys from victims to survivors. The foundation was founded by Monica and Nikhil Singh and gets its name from their father, late Mr. Mahendra Singh, who devoted his life to helping others and stood strong when Monica was burned with acid, giving her the courage to pursue her dreams. Monica is a motivational speaker honored by the Supreme Court of New York County, a well-known social activist against gender-based violence, a Global Youth Champion of UN Women, and a spokesperson at the UN, representing Face of Resilience from India-United States.

 

 

A Drop in the Ocean provides immediate and direct aid to refugees, focusing on helping children and their mothers upon arrival in Europe. Since its founding in September of 2015, the organization has coordinated more than 4,000 aid workers in Greece, where aid is highly needed.

Artil Maidan develops and implements artistic projects in Ukraine, specifically related to culture and arts education.

 We partnered with Artil Maidan on our Girl-talk-Girl program in Ukraine.

 

 

Theatre for Dialogue, a Ukrainian NGO, uses theatre to discuss oppression with activists, members of discriminated groups, and people aiming at social innovation. Together, they find individual strategies and systemic solutions for issues that hurt.

Maison des Femmes de Paris is a feminist organization based in Paris, France that combats violence and discrimination against women. The organization has been advocating for the rights of women for more than 30 years.

Nola Ellen Education, Training, and Consultancy specializes in culturally sensitive and inclusive approaches to youth and community work, including the varied areas of: child protection, trafficking and child sexual exploitation prevention, trauma and displacement, child rights, child voice, child participation, interfaith and intercultural dialogue, racial equality, and global diversity.

We partnered with Nolla Ellen Education, Training, and Consultancy on our Her{connect}Her program in the U.K.

Rodnik has for 17 years, prevented marital conflict, supported children and youth, promoted gender equality, and served victims of human trafficking and migrant women throughout Kazakhstan.

We partnered with Rodnik on our Girl-talk-Girl program in Kazakhstan. 

 

Girls Inc. of Bristol, Virginia is an affiliate of the national Girls Inc. organization. Serving girls ages 5-18, they focus on providing a safe and encouraging space where all girls can grow to be happy, healthy, and independent young women. Girls Inc. develops research-based informal education programs that encourage girls to take risks and master physical, intellectual and emotional challenges.

Alternatives for Girls helps homeless and high-risk girls and young women avoid violence, teen pregnancy and exploitation, and helps them to explore and access the support, resources and opportunities necessary to be safe, to grow strong and to make positive choices in their lives. Founded in 1987, Alternatives For Girls (AFG) is a southwest Detroit-based nonprofit organization.

We partnered with Alternatives for Girls on our WebinHERS program.

 

Tubman provides comprehensive services to serve families and individuals across the Twin Cities, Minnesota. They help with crisis situations through a 24-hour resource line and shelter services. They also support clients through their long-term healing processes and help them overcome barriers through core service areas: shelter and housing, mental and chemical health, legal services, youth programs, and workshops and support groups.

We partnered with Tubman on our WebinHERS program.


Volunteer project Knowledge Can Stop Gender-Based Violence (Samara, Russia) offers help for all participants in violence without restrictions of age, sex, or residence: for victims, for batterers, for witnesses, for assistants who work with traumatized people. All the project services are free. We work both personally (in Samara) and online (all other regions): consultations (social, psychological, legal) and advocacy, group activities, and prevention.


The Moscow Community Center for LGBT+ initiatives is a safe and comfortable space for the LGBT community, free from stigma, prejudice, aggression, homophobia, and discrimination. The Moscow Community Center for LGBT + initiatives brings together more than twenty LGBT projects, including events for feminists, groups for transgender and gender-non-conforming people, a club for LGBT parents and families with children, the international Open Art festival, sports and language clubs for the LGBT community, and many other socially significant projects. Psychological and legal services are also actively working and developing, thanks to which the LGBT community has the opportunity to receive the necessary qualified assistance.

Our Funders
