Footage is a global feminist research and action organization founded over 17 years ago by five women PhD colleagues at Cambridge University. We work with women, gender‑expansive, LGBTQIA+, and marginalized communities facing gender‑based violence and displacement, co‑designing trauma‑informed, participatory interventions that center compassion, lived experience, and narrative to shift policy and practice.

Footage Lab integrates Footage Foundation (global nonprofit, USA 510(c)(3)), Footage France (France- and EU-based nonprofit hub), and FootageLab+ (our social impact consultancy) to deliver feminist impact across grassroots, national, and international levels.
