The Early Years
Five Female Scholars Establish Footage Foundation During PhD Studies at The University of Cambridge

Fieldwork and Footage
Dr. Eglinton discovered that the methods she was using were doing more than generating data. They were intervening in people's lives. There was nothing like it at the time operating at the intersection of service, research and data. Inspired, Dr. Eglinton, together with Co-Founders, established Footage Foundation where she began a twenty-year trajectory of pioneering groundbreaking, participatory methods and changing people’s lives for the better.
“Dr. Eglinton is a tireless driver of innovative, evidence-based interventions that address the local needs of displaced communities in many regions of the world. ”
Global Achievements
Dr. Eglinton contributes policy and advocacy leadership to UN, EU, and national-level discussions on Feminist Foreign Policy, Women, Peace & Security (WPS), and systemic inclusion. Building on our Cambridge founded legacy, Footage Foundation maintains close ties with academic and policy networks worldwide.
