Antonina Tereshchenko, PhD
Co-founder, Board Member, Girl-talk-Girl Program Manager

Antonina has been involved in designing and delivering key Footage’s programs Girl-talk-Girl, WebinHERS and PowerTools. She is also an academic researcher with a PhD in Sociology of Education. Prior to her PhD research at University of Cambridge, Antonina worked for the International Renaissance Soros’ Foundation in Ukraine on the policy program, supporting equal and transparent access to higher education for all. For the last ten years, Antonina has worked at University of Porto,  King’s College London and UCL on projects focusing on educational in/equalities in relation to social identities such as gender, class, and ethnicity. Her work is published in international journals, such as Journal of Youth Studies, Global Studies of ChildhoodEducational Studies and Research Papers in Education. Antonina is keen to add meaningful purpose to research through engaging and training youth and educators, as well as ensuring impact with audiences outside the university. Antonina is particularly excited about initiatives which help to promote social justice and contribute to positive social change.
