Selin Yalcinkaya is a rising Junior at the University of Southern California with double majors in Theater and Psychology and a minor in French. She is passionate about using creativity and the arts to approach issues of mental health, especially in children with cognitive differences. She spends her summers as a camp counselor working with children struggling with social, emotional, or learning challenges. On campus, Selin is the co-President of an intersectional feminist art production company called ART/EMIS and a member of Troy Camp, a mentorship program for underprivileged youth in Los Angeles. She is also a Research Assistant at several psychology labs on campus and is an active member of USC's theater community as an actor and director.
